Luggage insurance

With luggage insurance, you will receive compensation if your luggage is delayed, stolen or lost in some other way. Compensation is paid after a 2-hour delay and the luggage is also protected in all other places, such as hotels, buses, trains and more.

Important to know:
  • The insured person needs to be permanently resident in the EU/EEA (except Croatia).
  • Needs to be signed and paid for before the trip (before boarding) to be valid.
  • You can get compensation from several different insurances; luggage insurance, home and card insurance and from any travel insurance.

Travel Insurance Plus strengthens your home insurance

Travel insurance Plus insures the basic cover you have in your home insurance for the first 45 days. For example, you will receive compensation for lost holiday days, delayed means of transport and luggage, as well as compensation for any deductibles.

Travel insurance Basic - Never travel uninsured

If you do not have home insurance, Travel Insurance Basic starts to apply immediately from day 1. If you travel away longer than the travel cover in your home insurance covers (usually 45 days), you can buy basic as an extended cover.
