Scams online, text messages, via calls and in social media are common. Keep in mind that we will never contact you by email, text or phone and ask for information. Be careful as scammers sometimes use apps to make it look like they're calling from us, the police, or security companies.

1. Only click on known links
Remember to be careful about clicking on links, attachments or downloading programs that come via email, text message or various web pages – especially when you do not know the sender.
